Join us for an informal celebration and social in Leamington Spa!

We’re teaming up with Leamington Spa developer Third Kind Games for our first social in the area, with all games and interactive entertainment industry workers very welcome to join us!

The evening features a talk by Kirsty Fraser (Rainbow Game Jam/Third Kind Games):

"Why Queer Game Jams Are Important" - This talk discusses the current LGBTQ+ representation that we have in video games and how game jams can play their part in not only helping improve the creation of more diverse games, but celebrate the developers behind them. Kirsty pulls in from her experience and observations of running Rainbow Game Jam, an annual online game jam, to share how it's been helping participants over the course of 7 years.

In addition, there will be:

• Drinks and nibbles

• Informal socialising and opportunity for casual networking with games industry attendees

• Guest list entry (but free!)
